The health and safety of our staff and the children entrusted to our care is our top priority. We are proud to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Health & Safety Practices in Place

  • We are almost 100% vaccinated! Anyone that is not fully vaccinated will be provided an N95 mask to wear at all times. Anyone that is fully vaccinated may take their mask off outside and anytime they are not at the level of children.
  • Staff members are encouraged to get the vaccine as it becomes available to them, MULTIPLE team members have already been vaccinated
  • Temperature checks at the door for all students and staff
  • Bottoms of shoes are sprayed with high quality disinfectant before walking through the building
  • Students and staff must immediately wash hands upon entering the classroom, transitions, meal times, before and after playing in sensory tables, after wiping each nose and face, diapering, food handling, etc.
  • Germblast company sprays entire school, toys, handles, lights, etc every 90 days to prevent bacteria from growing and spreading
  • Germblast does regular COVID cleanings for entire school
  • Germblast does handwashing classes for students
  • All toys, manipulatives, shelves, bathrooms, sinks, changing stations are all disinfected and cleaned during nap time. Any toy that needs to be cleaned before or after nap time is put in a bucket away to be cleaned when there is time
  • Specific COVID class taken by each staff member
  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
