Primrose School would love to meet your family.
Schedule A TourHello! My name is Amanda and I am the Executive Director of the Primrose School of Alpharetta. I have been a part of the Primrose family since August 2009, having worked at another Primrose school before coming to Primrose Alpharetta. I am originally from northwest Ohio where I attended Bowling Green State University. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a focus in Child Development. I began my teaching career at a small school in Toledo, Ohio where I worked as a Pre-K teacher, Assessment Coordinator and in administration with at-risk 3 and 4yr olds.
After relocating to the Atlanta area in the fall of 2009 I began looking for a position with a company whose mission was to create an environment in which children could flourish. Upon finding Primrose I was very impressed with the facilities and the balanced learning approach that their curriculum encompasses. I happily accepted the position as the Director of Curriculum and Training and soon after became the Director of Operations and now the Executive Director.
I’m passionate about teaching children and believe that Primrose’s proven curriculum and high standards provides unlimited possibilities for your children. Working closely with the teachers and families here at Primrose I have been able to see how beneficial the balanced learning curriculum is to each student. The curriculum is fun and exciting for the children while maintaining developmentally appropriate activities for each age group. I look forward to ensuring that we continue to create an environment where children flourish and where health and safety remain our number one priority. Should you have any questions or concerns, my door is always open.
Hello, my name is Natasha. I moved from Rochester, N.Y. to Georgia in 1996 to pursue a better employment opportunity. Upon my arrival to Georgia, I worked in the real estate industry, but it did not take me long to realize that my main interest was children.
I began my journey with Primrose School of Roswell in November 2002 as an assistant teacher in Early Preschool I classroom. A few months later, I was promoted to the Early Preschool II classroom where I served as the Lead Teacher for three years. I continued there until I was promoted Lead teacher in Preschool I. I felt as though I wanted to do more with the children and help new teachers learn about our balanced curriculum so I became the Mentor Teacher. My last promotion was Director of Curriculum and Training at our sister school, Primrose School of Alpharetta. I received my Paraprofessional Certification and it has motivated me to do even more! I love this position because it has allowed me to work with staff, parents and assisting all children with their needs.
I love working with preschool age children because of the joy and satisfaction they have when accomplishing a goal! I love to hear, “Ms. Tasha, look I did it!” The tools provided by Primrose Schools make teaching fun and learning even better. We are more than just an educational childcare center… We’re a family! As always, I am here for the children and parents and you can always count on me!
Hello! My name is Genita and I am an Education Coach. I have been with Primrose School of Alpharetta since October 2014.
I am originally from E. St. Louis, Illinois. While my background is in Journalism, I’m currently pursing my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University. I currently hold a Child Development Associates Credential. I’ve been working with children for 10+ years and my experience ranges from being a Sunday school teacher to an education advocate and mentor through non-profit programs. I’ve had the opportunity to work with various age groups as well as personalities.
I believe that every child learns at their own pace and has a different learning style, that is why I love the Primrose Balance Learning Curriculum. I look forward to building a long trusted relationship with all the families here at Primrose. It is an honor be a part of such a tenured and experienced school. Thank you for entrusting me with your child’s future.
Hi! My name is Louise and I am the Lead Teacher in the Young Infant Room. I am a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1999. I earned an accreditation in Business Management while caring for my three young daughters during this time.
My venture into the childcare arena started soon after my transition from Louisiana. Upon moving to Atlanta, I established a small home-based childcare environment where I provided for Infants through Toddlers. I later moved on to become a nanny and helped in the child development center at my church.
I started an amazing adventure with Primrose School of Alpharetta in 2018.My passion of working with Infants immediately landed me in the Young Infant Room. Being in the Infant room gives me the opportunity to nourish and nurture their impressionable minds with a curriculum that is designed to help them reach important milestones. My greatest achievement each day is in knowing that I was a part of loving, caring for and teaching your child. Watching them grasp new concepts and grow into active Toddlers is one of the biggest joys of my life.
Hello my name is Ms. Kim and I am so proud to say that I have taught at Primrose Alpharetta since December 1990! I have worked with many age groups and each experience has been very rewarding. It is a great satisfaction to see the children grow and learn on many different levels. With the Primrose structure and curriculum each day is a new and exciting experience. Being able to help set a strong, educational foundation for the children is a very rewarding experience for me.
I am originally from Kansas but the winds blew me to Georgia in 1990! My love for education began at Seward Community College in Kansas. After moving to Georgia I then attended Kennesaw State University. Each year I have continued my education with many hours of childcare training and have recently received my Para-professional certification.
Outside of teaching I a love to be outdoors! My weekends are filled with adventure. mountain biking, camping, and kayaking. I also enjoy photography and I play several instruments so you may come in to the classroom and hear the sounds of a harmonica, banjo or guitar being played. Welcome to Primrose!
Hello! My name is Ms. Lori and I am the Lead Teacher in the Toddler Classroom. I am originally from Queens, New York and moved to Georgia in 1997. I obtained a job at Shreiner Academy, where I worked with students ranging from ages 2 to 14 years. I became part of the Primrose family in July 2002. Shortly afterward, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
I came to Primrose because I appreciated what the school stands for and the fact that we are an accredited school. I was also impressed with the school’s curriculum. My own children, Austin and Amelia, have completed the Pre-K program and have gone to be both academically and socially successful in elementary school. I believe that this shows that Primrose’s curriculum and overall high standards can take a child anywhere!
After working in nearly every classroom, I have found my true home in the Infant/Toddler Room. I love watching the children grow and receive great satisfaction from watching this amazing process. I look forward to meeting you and your child and having the wonderful opportunity to positively impact your child’s life.

Hi, I am Irina Bhatia, and together with my husband Suvir we are honored to be the owners of Primrose Alpharetta.
Having grown up in highly educated families of teachers, children’s services professionals, engineers and lawyers, we come from environments where academics are the prominent family focus. We have experienced first-hand the value of early learning and individual attention during the formative years. This helped us realize and pursue our passion for sharing this vision, promoting education, and providing outstanding early childhood learning opportunities to families in our community.
Suvir has a Masters degree in Business Management & Computer Networking from Carnegie Mellon University. He has been a Strategy and Operations consultant with a Big 4 Consulting firm for the last twelve years, setting up and improving operations for companies around the world. After earning my MBA from Georgia State, I also joined a Big 4 Consulting firm, and spent six years building my career in financial and project management. It was during these years that I had the opportunity to realize my dedication to teaching, training, and professionally coaching my colleagues – while also providing professional mentorship to friends. It quickly became clear that education, as well as personal and academic development of others, were my true passion and a dream career choice.
In our free time we love to travel and see the world. Suvir enjoys exploring interesting and innovative techniques in photography of places we visit. I appreciate experiencing exotic food from different parts of the world, and experimenting with combining different cuisines and trying new things in the kitchen when we are at home.
Together, we are a team, dedicated to providing the highest quality care and learning environment to the children in our community. Our goal is to make sure our school becomes an extension of each child’s home and family, as a safe, interesting, and creative learning environment, which facilitates their personal and academic development. In addition to standing by the outstanding one-of-a-kind research-informed and well-rounded Primrose curriculum, we also firmly believe that who children become is as important as what they know. We are dedicated to creating an environment where children learn all appropriate life skills, which will help them become educated, happy and successful adults.
