  • Ms. Kayla, Lead Preschool Pathways Teacher

    Ms. Kayla

    Lead Preschool Pathways Teacher

Hello! My name is Kayla and I am so excited to work with your children! I began my early childhood career right here at Primrose School of Acworth at Bentwater in 2013. I was fresh out of high school and had only worked with children as a nanny, not having any of my own. Back then we could only use our last names and my Italian maiden name was difficult for my sweet two year olds to pronounce. We shortened it and the children began lovingly referringto me as Ms. Noni- and it stuck! I quickly fell in love with the Primrose way and began attending Georgia Northwestern Technical College to obtain my certificate in Early Childhood Education. In 2015, I married and gained a sweet loving step son named Colton. Devin and I later had our daughter Annikyn. After having Annikyn, I was a stay at home mom for three years! I dedicated all my time and education to teaching our young daughter and preparing her for PreK. I will cherish those years forever! For the last three years I have worked as a substitute teacher at elementary schools across Paulding County. Now that both my children are thriving in Elementary School, I am ready to dedicate my time to helping your children learn and grow here at Primrose. My favorite part of working in the Preschool Pathways classroom is seeing the children discover new things about themselves and the world around them every single day. It may come as a surprise that I actually love potty training too- my friends and family refer to me as the “Potty Training Queen!”In my free time I love to cheer on my Georgia Dawgs from the sidelines in Athens, go camping and boating, see my favorite artists in concert, and sit by the pool. I have a special love for children’s books and often spend my girl’s night out with friends sitting cross legged on the floor of Barnes and Noble- this is why Og the Bookworm is my favorite of our Primrose Friends! I can’t wait to get to know your family, teaching and nurturingyour children along their Preschool Pathway!
