  • Mrs. Michelle, Lead Pre-Kindergarten II Teacher

    Mrs. Michelle

    Lead Pre-Kindergarten II Teacher

Hello! I am Michelle Maier. I am so grateful and excited to be a part of the Primrose Bentwater family. My time in education started in college. My best friend’s mother owned a church preschool and I worked there teaching the three-year old class throughout college. I attended the University of Akron, where I studied Elementary Education with a special focus in Children's Literature. I have enjoyed teaching for more than 30 years off and on while raising three wonderful children.

Originally, I lived in Ohio for 40 years where I met my husband Bob and with his job moved to Florida for seven years and now Atlanta. Within the first month of living in Kennesaw, I found Primrose school of Kennesaw North. Where I have been working for the last five years, the last two teaching Private Prekindergarten. I had heard so many great things about Primrose Schools and was thrilled to be able to be a part of such a well-rounded school program. This last year we moved to a quieter place in Dallas right next to a beautiful forest. When a Private Pre-kindergarten position opened at Bentwater it was an easy decision to make being closer to home and knowing I would continue to work with Amy and Tommy Roper who I respect tremendously.

In my spare time I have a passion for animals (two rescue fur babies) especially reptiles and spiders. I also enjoy hiking, going to museums, watching Nat Geo, history channel, and reading.
