Find Your Fit

There are a variety of roles at every Primrose school and plenty of opportunities to learn and advance your career.

Teacher

Primrose schools can serve children as young as 6 weeks old through pre-K and even kindergarten, and our Balanced Learning® curriculum is designed to support teachers with everything they need to help each child flourish. You don’t need prior education experience to excel at Primrose, and you can find your perfect fit by exploring the different classrooms and ages served. All classrooms have a Lead Teacher and Support Teacher, so you’re never on your own. Check out this blog post to learn more about a day in the life of a Primrose teacher.

Education Coach

Education Coaches are the secret sauce of teacher success. They are experts who help teachers implement the Balanced Learning curriculum — and many of them started as teachers themselves! Education Coaches support and empower staff through training and regular classroom observations to provide feedback and create individual growth goals.

Director

Directors create a culture of support within the school — for staff, families and children — and they ensure the school continues to provide the best and most trusted early childhood education and care to the families they serve. There are different paths to this role, but many directors started out as teachers.

Food Service Teacher

At Primrose, we are committed to nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®, and the Food Service Teacher has a critical role in bringing that to life. These teachers support children and families in important ways by ensuring every child receives healthy, well-balanced meals. Each day, they order food and supplies, prepare and distribute allergen-free meals and maintain the kitchen.

Franchise Owner

Each school is owned and operated by a local Franchise Owner who is committed to the staff and families they serve. They are fully invested in the success of their school and of each member of their team. As teachers grow their careers at a school, some even choose to open their own!

Whether you want to begin your teaching career in early childhood education or take it to the next level, Primrose can provide the training, resources and growth opportunities to match your ambition. Each Primrose school is a privately owned and operated franchise, and the respective Franchise Owner is the employer at each school. Franchise Owners set their own wage and benefit programs, which vary among Franchise Owners.
