This do-it-yourself reindeer planter is the perfect winter craft for kids! Your child will enjoy making this festive holiday decoration and filling it with treats, art supplies or toys.
Supplies:
- Foam board
- Pencil
- Craft paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Small terracotta pot
- Googly eyes
- Felt craft ball
- Small sleigh bells
Instructions:
- Using a pencil, trace the outline of your child’s hands on foam board.
- Cut the tracing out.
- Glue the hands onto the backside of scrapbook paper and cut them out.
- Glue sleigh bells on the top of some or all of the fingers.
- Glue two googly eyes and a felt nose on the side of a small terracotta pot, placing the googly eyes near the top.
- Glue the handprints together (side by side) and attach to the top of the terracotta pot to form the antlers of the reindeer.
- Fill the pot with candy, art supplies or toys.
