Make Exercise Fun With These Physical Activity Cubes

Let’s get those little legs moving! This fun dice game will keep your child guessing about which silly move they will get to do next. It’s an easy way to encourage physical activity and creative expression.

Follow the steps below to get started:

1) Print the cut out below.

2) Cut, fold and paste the cube together with your child.

3) Name the shape (cube) and count the number of sides together.

4) Point to and name each silly move and demonstrate each one as necessary.

5) Take turns rolling the dice to get the whole family moving. Let the fun begin!

For children ages 1-3 use an”action” words cube. Encourage your child to roll the cube with action words and have them do the exercise. This encourages them to recognize exercise moves!

For children ages 4-7, use a numeral cube and additional cube with “action” words. Encourage your child to roll the cube with action words and then roll a numeral cube to see how many times to do the exercise. This encourages counting and numeral recognition along with exercise!
