Creatively Speaking: How Children’s Books Artists and Authors Approach Belongingness

Fostering a sense of belongingness means creating and maintaining an environment where everyone feels included, and at Primrose Schools, we’ve made that a part of every day for the past 40 years. In fact, this idea is so central to our Balanced Learning® curriculum that we’ve created a holiday for it: National Day of Belongingness.

For our inaugural celebration of this important day, Primrose Schools CEO Jo Kirchner sat down with influential authors Ken Wilson-Max, Kate T. Parker and Hyewon Yum to discuss the importance of fostering a sense of belongingness in children.
