Color Changing Flowers

It’s easy to see why your kids will LOVE this colorful flower experiment.

Supplies:

Carnation flowers
Scissors (for adult use)
Glass cups
Water
Food coloring

Steps:

  1. Have an adult split the carnation stems down the middle.
  2. Fill glass cups with water, and add in food coloring.
  3. Place each half of the stem into the cups.
  4. Check the flowers daily to observe the changes.
