Over the past few years, I’ve come to learn more about Primrose Schools and its leadership position in early educational child care. But this achievement is about more than high quality education for its students; Primrose is a catalyst for all children, including those far beyond the walls of its schools. Compassion is an integral component of every aspect of the company – from its values-based curriculum to each school’s support of local causes.

As a parent myself, I understand the importance of raising the next generation and the challenge of teaching them what is right, generous, and kind in an often unkind world. This year, at each of its 280+ schools across the country, Primrose sponsored a U.S.-based child in Save the Children’s Child Sponsorship program. These are children growing up right here in America often without access to some very basic needs, such as books, essential learning support, health and nutrition and so much more.  I have been delighted to watch Primrose Schools and its students build bonds with their sponsored children through this innovative program. I can think of no more meaningful way to model giving without expecting, friendship, and generosity for children.

Save the Children provides vital support for kids from poverty-stricken communities in the United States and around the world. We are the leading independent organization for children in need, helping to set them up for success in school and a brighter future. We are so grateful to have a partner in Primrose Schools, which shares our belief that forging a path to a better future for kids is not only imperative, but possible.
