To forge a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.
To deliver the best and most trusted early education and care for children and families across America.
At Primrose Schools, we believe that who children become is as important as what they know. For almost 40 years, our approach to teaching and learning has remained
true to the Primrose core belief of nurturing balance among mind body
and heart. All elements of the Balanced Learning® approach are intentionally woven together in engaging, challenging and varied learning experiences throughout every day. These experiences are designed to stimulate children’s intellectual, creative, physical and social-emotional growth for Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®.
The Primrose values of fairness and social responsibility guide us to fulfill our mission. As we build trusted relationships among the Primrose Support Team, Franchise Owners, school staff, families and communities we serve, we model compassionate citizenship and work to expand access to quality early education and care for all children.
Diversity encompasses our unique backgrounds, life experiences and perspectives. We seek similarities and respect differences in our students and families, our staff, our Franchise Owners and our communities.
Equity means that we recognize each child does not start with the same abilities and opportunities, so we strive to ensure multiple pathways for all children to benefit from a strong early education foundation.
Inclusion equals belongingness. We treasure our relationships with the children and families we serve, our staff and our Franchise Owners, and make every effort to ensure they feel part of the Primrose community.
Primrose School Franchise Owners, School Leadership Teams and school staff, and Primrose National Support Team, are mutually dedicated to delivering service excellence and the highest standards of safety, health, education, and, of course, laughter and hugs!
In 1998, Primrose Schools became the first early childhood education organization to earn national accreditation from AdvancED (now known as Cognia). In 2012, Primrose Schools was the first education organization to earn Corporation Systems Accreditation through AdvancED. Cognia is a 100 year-old quality-improvement enhancement network made up of the largest community of education professionals in the world. They conduct rigorous, on-site external reviews of pre-K-12 schools and school systems to help ensure that all learners realize their full potential.
Primrose Schools' quality assurance and continuous improvement processes help foster a safe and consistent experience for children and families. Using a Child and Parent Experience Review, each school completes a self-study and continuous improvement process to strengthen their school's commitment to excellence in all areas, with particular focus on policies and procedures to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care and education.
We've sent our daughter to Primrose for several years now, and I cannot say enough good things about it. My daughter has flourished academically and emotionally, she is in love with her teachers and I can't believe how much she is learning.
We love the caring teachers and staff. The structured learning is great, and the food program is top notch.
