Private Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

Hi!  My name is Karla Roberts and I was born in Pasadena, Texas.  I was raised in Houston and Tarkington, Texas and now reside in Cleveland, Texas.  I have been married to my High School sweetheart, Tommy, for almost 31 years.  We have 3 beautiful and talented children, Josh, Emilie and Haylie, a wonderful daughter-in-law, Andrea, a soon to be son-in-law, Taylor, and are grandparents (PaPaw and KaKay) to 3 absolutely awesome grandchildren, Ty-5, Audrey-4 and Colby-1, who of course we think are little geniuses.  God and family are our life.  My husband and I have been in ministry for over 20 years.  Some of my hobbies include scrapbooking, interior decorating and anything having to do with the computer.

I am one of the teachers in the Private Pre-Kindergarten 1 room.  I’ve been working here at Primrose School of Kingwood since its opening and am loving it!  I have worked with children of all ages for over 25 years now.  In the past I taught Kindergarten for 12 years, but also have taught grades 1 through 6 at a Private Christian school in Cleveland.  I have served as KinderChurch director for two churches as well as taught Sunday school in the Early Childhood Department.  I also coached the Jr. High and Varsity Cheerleaders at Heritage Christian Academy in Cleveland for 16 years.  I took a break from teaching from 2006 to 2009 to watch my grandchildren which I thoroughly enjoyed.  I found Primrose when I started searching for a place to begin teaching once again.  I feel so blessed to be a part of Primrose School and to be a part of the opening of the new school.  I now have my “Dream Room” for teaching.

Assistant Director
Hello! My name is Melissa Clemons.  I am a loving wife and a devoted mother of two children. When I started in the childcare business I was eighteen and just out of school, and I have never looked back. I still love it! My favorite part is working with the families and children to make a difference in their lives. Initially, I worked as a teacher for many years, and now that I am a part of the management team, I am able to support the teachers and give them all the training and resources they need to succeed.  I’m really excited to experience this wonderful opportunity with Primrose School of Kingwood and show off my true talent. I can’t wait to meet all of the new families coming to Primrose!

Assistant Director
Hello! My name is Lindsay Noltimier.  My love for children is something I have always had. From a very young age I knew I was meant to work with children and their families. I did a great deal of child care all through high school, and after a year of working with special education students my first year of college, I aggressively pursued my degree in social work. My family and I moved to Humble in October of 2006 when I began working for a foster care and adoption agency. Upon expanding our family, my drive to work directly with children and their families continued to grow. I am so excited to have branched out to pursue that desire. I am so thankful to be part of the new journey in the care, education, and well-being of our community’s youth here at Primrose School of Kingwood. To be a part of something so special with such an important mission for our community is truly where my heart is. I look forward to being part of our families’ lives.
