Our Director, Ms. Tiffany Ryan, is originally from Seattle, Washington and moved to the wonderful state of Texas in 2003. Ms. Ryan has successfully completed her Director's Certification Courses from the ChildCare Education Institute and is currently seeking her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. With eight years early childhood experience, she has had the opportunity to work with children ages two to five, and has been the Director of our school since its opening day! Ms. Ryan is dedicated to providing an educational, nurturing and safe environment in which children are encouraged to reach their full potential. She feels privileged to work for Primrose, the leader in educational child care, and is motivated and inspired by the philosophies Primrose adheres to. Ms. Ryan and her husband, Jacob, have three children, Makenna, Brendan, and Blayne, and have lived in Mckinney for 6 years.

Stacey Schwendeman
Assistant Director
Our Assistant Director, Ms. Stacey Schwendeman, hails from Minnesota where she earned her degree in Psychology, with an emphasis on Family Relationships and Child Development, from Winona State University. She comes to us with over 10 years experience working with children and adults with special needs, and has served as our Assistant Director since the school's opening in December '07. Motivated by the Primrose philosophy of Balanced Learning and Parental Partnerships, Ms. Schwendeman is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment for children and their families. Having two children of her own, she knows how important it is for parents to feel secure and confident with their choice in child care. She has an "open door" policy where both parents and teachers are encouraged to express their ideas for a successful and nurturing classroom experience. Ms. Schwendeman lives in Allen, TX with her husband, Nathan, and their daughters, Rylie & Eryn.

Ms. Baig
Infant Teacher
Ms. Baig traveled long and far before finding herself at Primrose. She is originally from Pakistan and was raised in the United Arab Emirates. She graduated from Dubai University in 1990 and married her husband in 1991. In 1994, Ms. Baig and her two boys moved to the United States and currently live in Allen. In her spare time, Ms. Baig loves to travel, cook and clean. Ms. Baig has been a part of our Primrose family for over 2 years and is very happy to serve as one of our Infant Classroom teachers!

Ms. Bibi
Infant Teacher
Ms. Bibi is from Eagle Pass, TX and has lived in Dallas for 6 years. Ms. Bibi joined our team in May of 2010, and previously worked for Primrose for 3 years prior to having her 3 children. Ms. Bibi's patience, gentle spirit and consistency make her a perfect fit for the infant classroom, both for the babies she cares for and her fellow teammates! She loves working at Primrose because she fell in love with it right away, especially the babies!

Ms. Harvey
Infant Classroom Teacher
Ms. Harvey is the mother of two girls, Payton and Peri, that currently attend Primrose. She enjoyed having the girls go to school here at East Allen so much, that she wanted to be a part of the school's exciting environment. She has had 10 years experience in childcare. She believes that it is more important to foster good people and be a positive role model and that once those things are in place, intelligence will come naturally. She and her husband of 6 years love the family feeling here at Primrose East Allen. Ms Harvey enjoys painting, art projects, and music. She is also a breast cancer survivor of 2 years! She loves spending time with her family and friends and wants to touch each person she meets in a positive way. She is truly thankful for every moment. |

Ms. Boulton

Ms. Boulton works in our Young Toddler room and has been with us since we opened our doors in December of 2007. Ms. Boulton lives in Van Alstyne with her husband Bobby and her three children, Kaleb, Toby, and Abby. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves watching reality TV. |

Ms. Ivory
Toddler Teacher
Ms. Ivory moved to Allen in December 2009 with her husband, Chris, and their beautiful son Carter. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and shopping. She has over 8 years of childcare experience, including teaching preschool in Oklahoma. She has always loved being around children because of their smiling faces and how amazed they are when they learn new things that adults may take for granted or simply forget. It's a daily reminder for Ms. Ivory to be grateful for everything. |

Ms. Boyd
Early Preschool I Teacher
Ms. Boyd is originally from Newfoundland, Canada, but spent the best part of her life growing up in Frisco, TX. She now resides in Howe and is currently attending Grayson County College. She has taught at Primrose East Allen for close to two years and loves to work with small children. Ms. Boyd has 2 boys of her own who are the center of her world. She enjoys being part of the Primrose team because it is a friendly atmosphere and they hold the highest standards for Early Childhood Education... Both of which are essential to the young developing mind. |

Ms. Lewis
Early Preschool I
Ms. Lewis is originally from Great Falls, Montana, but was raised for the majority of her life here in Dallas. She was a nanny for 4 years and has taken many childcare courses at UNT. She is still pursuing her degree in education so she can teach in different countries. She enjoys working at Primrose because of the welcoming and friendly atmosphere of the school. Ms. Lewis knows that Primrose strives to push for excellence in their students and that the school is her family and her home away from home. |

Ms. Gerardo
Early Preschool I Teacher
Ms. Gerardo was born and raised in Dallas, TX. She is currently working on her Bachelor of Science degree in Child Psychology and a minor in Early Childhood Education. One day, Ms. Gerardo hopes to get her Doctorate in Child Psychology. She was a nanny for 2 years and afterward worked as an assistant teacher for 1 year. She enjoys working at Primrose because the atmosphere appeals to her definition of a pristine school: all the teachers are highly qualified and strive to encourage each child to excel. |

Ms. Johnson
Early Preschool II Teacher
Ms. Johnson has been married since Valentines Day 2009. They live in Anna, TX with their 3 dogs, a cat, and a rabbit. She was born on a dairy farm in East Texas where her love of animals and children started. Ms. Johnson has been working with children for 13 years through babysitting, nannying, and working in various schools. She truly loves her job and enjoys her day. Ms. Johnson takes pride in teaching children and watching them learn. She also enjoys helping parents with their children as they meet milestones such as potty training. This is exactly where Ms. Johnson wants to be and she looks forward to meeting you and your children! |

Ms. Hill

Ms. Hill is a native of Sherman, TX and currently lives in McKinney, TX with her husband Brian and their two dogs Jenny and Paylin. Ms. Hill graduated in 2006 from UNT with a BA in sociology. She has completed graduate work in Early Childhood Education and has been with Primrose East Allen since October 2008. She is currently pursuing a degree in nursing. Ms. Hill and her husband are expecting their first baby, Tyler, in October. |

Ms. Leadingham
Preschool I Teacher
Ms. Leadingham is a New Mexico native who attended Texas Tech for three years pursuing her degree in early childhood education before moving to the DFW area in 2008. She has over four years experience working with children ranging from infants to 4th graders. After staying at home with her youngest of two children she desired to re-enter the workforce. Ms. Leadingham was initially drawn to Primrose for the educational curriculum integrated into every classroom. When she has a spare moment, she loves to spend time with her fiancé Jason, their two children Braxton (8) and Addison (3) and their Boxer Cooper! |

Ms. Santos

Ms. Santos was raised in the Plano/McKinney area. She graduated from McKinney High School in 2009 and is currently attending Collin College majoring in theater and minoring in English. She speaks fluent Portuguese as well as a little French and Spanish. Ms. Santos has been working with children for 5 years and is excited to join Primrose because she love children and enjoys teaching them something new! |

Ms. Alvarez

Ms. Alvarez has been working with children since 2003 and has loved every minute of it. She loves helping children achieve their goals and watching them light up with that "I did it!" look. In her spare time she enjoys reading, watching movies, and being with her wonderful husband! |

Ms. Elliott has 17 years experience in Early Childcare and Education. She loves working with children and her patience and gentle guidance definitely are an asset to the Preschool classroom. In her spare time, Ms. Elliott enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children; Brandon, age 17 and Ashley, age 13. |

Ms. Eckel

Please let us introduce Aubriana Eckel. She just graduated from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville where she received her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is certified as a Pre-K/Primary teacher along with being ESOL endorsed. She moved to Texas about a month ago from Fort Myers, Florida and absolutely loves it here! Primrose school has made her feel right at home with a very comforting and friendly environment. Ms. Eckel is excited to be a part of our school and is looking forward to the coming months with Primrose! |

Ms. York
Pre-Kindergarten I Teacher
Ms. York is originally from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Elementary Education and is a certified teacher in Early Childhood Education through 4th grade. In August of 2005, she purchased a children's photography company that she has run for the past five years. Recently, she sold her photography company to pursue her true passion of working in the classroom with children. Ms. York, her fiance, Jason, and their mastiff Brody reside in McKinney. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, running, reading books and watching a good movie. Ms. York has always had a passion for working with children. She enjoys watching them learn and is excited about being part of the Primrose East Allen family! |

Ms. Staves
Pre-Kindergarten II Teacher
Ms. Staves moved to the area about one year ago from East Texas, where she was a first grade teacher. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State in 2007 with her teaching degree. She has been teaching in the Pre-Kindergarten classroom at Primrose for the past year and has absolutely loved it. She thinks it is nice to teach at a school where everyone is close like family. She is looking forward to adding to her teaching certification and making new friends. |

Ms. Hatch
Pre-Kindergarten II Teacher
Ms. Hatch was born and raised in Plano, TX and is one of the biggest Cowboy fans you'll ever meet! She joined our Primrose team over two years ago in our Pre-Kindergarten I classroom. Since then, she has had the opportunity to work with the Explorer's program and help out in the front office. Being a teacher and a mom, she can honestly say there is no better place for early childhood education. Ms. Hatch has a daughter, Rylynn, who was born on April 6, 2010 and she is the best part of Ms. Hatch's life. Ms. Hatch, her fiancee and their daughter reside in Plano along with their two pups.

Ms. Garner recently graduated from Allen HS and is currently attending Collin College where she will stay until she transfers to Texas Tech. Other than Primrose, she has spent several years babysitting and working at her church nursery. When she is not at work, Ms. Garner enjoys spending time with family and friends. She was on her high school drill team so she also enjoys dancing. |

Ms. Chumbley
Pre-Kindergarten II Teacher
Ms. Chumbley has been a valued Primrose team member since 2005, and started out working with toddlers. She has been with the Primrose East Allen family since October of 2009 in our Pre-Kindergarten classroom. Born and raised in Texas, Ms. Chumbley found that she has a penchant for working with children and loves to see their smiles and giggles, as well as observe them reach their milestones. She can be found in the classroom reading her favorite book, "Where the Wild Things Are", or teaching children about sharing and caring with Katie the Cat. Ms. Chumbley believes in the importance of play and that play is children's work. In her own words, she feels that "play that is developmentally appropriate involves freedom, flexibility, fascination, and fun; these elements help young children gain a great sense of self respect and esteem. The cooperative experience is unique because it involves children and their families in a mindful and supportive environment." She hopes to share in this enriching experience with your child and you!

Ms. Cussimanio was born in Dallas, TX and now lives in Allen, TX. She enjoys going places with her family. She has been teaching children for the past 8 years and six of those years have been with Primrose. She went to A&M Commerce and holds a Bachelors Degree in Education. She is also certified in Special Needs Education and EC-4th grade. Ms. Cussimanio likes Primrose because it is like a family and they care for each child's individual needs. |

Ms. Borel
Kindergarten/Explorers Classroom
Ms. Borel is a proud Primrose parent of 2 boys, Will (7) an Jake (2) and has been married for 8 years. She has been a teacher for 10 years and has been a part of the Primrose East Allen family since it opened in 2007. She loves to read anything she can get her hands on and enjoys rooting for the SMU Mustangs with her family and seeing their friends from Marion Elementary. Ms. Borel loves the Primrose schools for their amazing academics and character building.

Mr. Bellinger

Mr. Bellinger currently lives in Frisco, TX. Before working at Primrose, he taught Pre-K at a childcare center in Frisco and also took care of children at the local gym. Mr. Bellinger spends time going to college at Collin County and being with his friends and family. He likes the Primrose curriculum because it fosters creativity and curiousity in every child. Mr. Bellinger is really looking forward to watching the children grow and is excited to see what is in store for the future. |

Ms. Blackledge

Ms. Blackledge lives in McKinney, TX with her 3 children ages 8,6, and 2 and her husband of 10 years. She has a B.S. in Psychology from Iowa state and is working towards her Masters in Education with a teaching certifiction. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, talking walks, and cooking. She has been working with children for 3 years and has been with Primrose since 2008. She likes the Primrose curriculum because it emphasizes each child's strength and builds on their weaknesses. Ms. Blackledge enjoys working with the Explorers and tries to give each child individual attention. She believes that children are lifelong teachers and she hopes to instill curiosity in all her students. |

Ms. Turner graduated from Texas A&M University with an Early Childhood Education Degree in 2004, Summa Cum Laude. She taught elementary schol in the private sector for 5 years before becoming a mom. Sh is excited to work with children and to teach them the importance of having a kind heart and love of learning. When she's not teaching, Ms. Turner enjoys spending time with her husband, her 18 month old daughter, her golden retriever and her 2 cats. |

Ms. Cline
Office Assistant
Ms. Cline grew up in Allen and graduated Allen High School in 2006. Being drawn to work with children, she began her career at the ripe old age of 13. From babysitting to teaching swim lessons and gymnastics, Ms. Cline gained valuable experience for her future as a preschool teacher. Finding a home with Primrose, Ms. Cline has been able to fine-tune her teaching abilities and has made a positive impact on the Preschool I classroom. When not teaching preschool, she can be found diligently pursuing her Real Estate license and sharing time with her boyfriend and friends.

Ms. Darby
Office Assistant
Ms. Darby was born in Phoenix, Arizona and is currently a Senior at Allen High School. Her past experience with children includes babysitting and her participation in the PAL's Program (a program that helps to teach students in need.) She was introduced to Primrose East Allen through the high school Co-Op program and due to her love of children. She enjoys teaching and knows that working with children as she goes through school will be good experience for the future - Ms. Darby is attending college in August 2010 to become a Pediatric Nurse, then soon after, transfer to Texas Tech to become a Pediatrician.

Ms. Malek is a senior at Allen High School, and was born in Pakistan. She has been a volunteer at the Allen Public Library for three years. Ms. Malek enjoys babysitting, she hopes to one day attend Collin College and University of Texas at Dallas, she is an aspiring English teacher. Ms. Malek now lends her service to Primrose as an office assistant and floater. |

Ms. Yeager

Ms. Yeager was born in McKinney, TX, but has lived in Allen all of her life. She is a co-op student at Allen High School and lives with her mom, sisters and nephew. Ms. Yeager loves being around children and has babysat for family and friends since she was 12 years old. When Ms. Yeager is not reading to or playing with the children here at Primrose, she can be found completing various office tasks at the front desk. It is Ms. Yeager's goal to one day become a neonatal nurse. She is very grateful to be a part of the East Allen family. |

Floater - Allen ISD Co-op Program
Ms. Bryant is currently a senior at Allen High School, in the Career Prep Program. She has attended Allen all four years. While there, Ms. Bryant has taken several child development classes. Ms. Bryant is looking forward to getting to know all of the children and helping them in their growing and learning process. |
