Congratulations Dinah Daily for being the Apple of our Eye! Almost everyone knows our exceptional cook, Dinah. She is one of a kind! Dinah's name is heard throughout the building whenever she enters a classroom from children 1 and up! We appreciate Dinah for her love for children, passion for food and nutrition, and her support of our school. We recently held our Primrose Pre-K & Kindergarten Graduation with a guest list that was around 500 people. Dinah took on the enormous task of catering this event out of the goodness of her heart. From the child-made rooster centerpieces to the yummy chocolate fountain, out graduation was an elegant and memorable event for everyone, thanks to Dinah.
We appreciate Dinah's hard work and generosity. She is amazing! Please join us in thanking her for her contributions to our school.

Erin Wilson & Smita Thukral
Assistant Director & Director
We are pleased to introduce our management team! Our director, Smita Thukral, has an amazing background. Smita has her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Special Education, a post graduate diploma in Early Childhood Education, a certificate and advanced graduate studies in Educational Media and Technology, not to mention another Bachelor's degree in Microbiology. Smita previously worked at a preschool in Massachusetts where she worked for 5 years as a teacher, 2 years as the Assistant Director and 3 years as the Director. Smita also has the life experience of being the mother of twin 6 year old girls. Erin Wilson, our Assistant Director, has 7 years of experience working with children. Erin has worked with preschool children ranging in ages from 6 weeks to 5 years. She earned her CDA (Child Development Associate) in 2004 and was promoted to the position of Assistant Director. Erin also has experience as the Director of a before and after school program. She is also the proud mother of a precious 3 year old girl.

Ms. Alvarado
Management Assistant
Nicole Alvarado holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Children’s Studies with a minor in Sociology. She has been married for 6 years and has two children who attend Primrose, Blake who is 5 years old and a 1 year old daughter, Kiersten! She enjoys providing a positive learning environment and sharing special moments with the children and their families!

Ms. DeCrastos
Kindergarten Teacher
Ms. DeCrastos is our wonderful Kindergarten teacher. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ages birth through 3rd grade) and has her Indiana teaching license. Ms. DeCrastos is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Literature. She has additional training in cognitive skills and memory. Her great credentials, amazing dedication, and love for children have shown in her classes successes. Come in and see samples of the children's story books and listen to them read!

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. After graduating in April 09' I moved to Fishers, IN. During my free time I enjoy traveling to California and New York to spend time with family and friends.

Ms. Foegley has been in education for many years and her experience shows! She is wonderful with her class, and really takes into consideration each and every child's individual needs. Ms. Foegley has wonderful classroom management and works hard to keep her class organized and fun.
Ms. Foegley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement Kindergarten. This is her 25th year in teaching. She is married and a loving mother of three children. Ms. Foegley has a passion for working with young children. In her spare time she loves to jazzercise, watch reality television, and enjoys attending her children’s extra curricular events.

Ms. Layne graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in Psychology. She has a younger sister that she helped raise. She spent many years babysitting and now enjoys watching her little niece. In her spare time she loves traveling, museums and theatres and being with family and friends She just recently returned from a trip to Ghana where she brough supplies and helped underpriviledged children.

Ms. Burg holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and has been in childcare for 7 years. She has been married to her husband, Jonathan, for 1½ years. Ms. Burg enjoys building relationships with the children and their parents! She also loves the learning environment that Primrose offers! Ms. Burg likes reading, watching movies, and going out to dinner.

Ms. Kelly Clem (formerly Ms. VanOverloop) holds her Bachelor's degree in Early Chidlhood Education (ages birth - 3rd grade) and an Indiana state teacher's license. She is one of the most kind people you will ever meet and the children love & respect her for it. She has a strong expertise in reading skills and has done an amazing job teaching the children letter sounds, writing, and number skills. She would love to meet you, so come on in and visit her class!

Ms. Cody has a bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Ball State University and she have a family full of educators. Before coming to Primrose, she was a Flight Attendant for twenty years. She is married and has one baby,... a Golden Retriever named Shelby!

Ms. Evie Ditzler holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She has been in childcare for nearly 13 years, which began when she was old enough to babysit. Although she does not have any children of her own, she has one cat that she shares her home with. Ms. Ditzler enjoys watching children grow and learn. In her spare time, she likes being artistic.

Congratulations Ms. Rebecca Ditzler in Preschool I for being the Apple of our Eye this month.
Ms. Ditzler worked closely with Ms. Scholtes to make sure the children would have a smooth transition when Ms. Scholtes left on maternity leave. She has been a wonderful addition to our team. Ms. Ditzler goes over and beyond to create an educational and fun learning environment for the children. Ms. Ditzler manages her classroom in a fun way and puts a lot of thought into her lesson plans to keep the children challenged and involved.
We love having Ms. Ditzler and we appreciate the extra time she puts into her class to make it great!

Early Preschool II Teacher
Ms. Rempe is our Early Preschool I assistant teacher. Her patience and love for each child really stands out each and every day. She is wonderful at making sure each child feels comfortable and welcome in the classroom. Ms. Rempe is also dedicated, reliable, and she's a positive member of our staff. Her teamwork is evident in how well she works with Ms. Mullins.
She has been married for 14 years and has a 6 year old daughter, Alli, who attended Primrose. Ms. Rempe loves spending her time with children and especially enjoys all the hugs she receives!

Early Preschool I Teacher
Ms. Mullins has a degree in motherhood, which she has been completing for nearly 34 years. Currently, Ms. Mullins is working on her CDA (Child Development Associate). She has two children, a daughter who is an Electrical Engineer, and a son who holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science. Ms. Mullins is very artistic and loves seeing the children grow, learn, change, and get messy! She also loves getting hugs!

Ms. Pendleton graduated from Ball State with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences and a minor in Social Work. She has been around children her whole life, and she enjoys watching them grow and develop. Ms. Pendleton is excited as she is expecting her first child in June.

Ms. Richardson is one of our older Toddler teachers, and has been such a wonderful addition to our staff. Ms. Richardson is a very hardworking person who goes above and beyond. She shows a lot of patience with the children and genuinely cares about each one of them.

Ms. Conley, a graduate from Hamilton High, has been working in childcare for more than 7 years. She has been married for 14 years and has a son and a daughter. Ms. Conley loves spending time with her family, being outdoors, watching sports (especially the Colts!), shopping, and scrapbooking.

Ms. Werling has been our lead Young Toddler teacher for over a year. Her energy and compassion draw the children to her. Ms. Werling is great at getting down to the children's level and making learning fun! Ms. Werling holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development, which she received from Ball State University. Ms. Werling is married to her husband, Jason, and enjoys exercising, going to the movies, shopping, traveling, and being outside. Ms. Werling’s favorite thing about children is the way they make her laugh!

Ms. Gaard is our lead Infant teacher. She has been working with us since shortly after we opened. She has a heartfelt love for children and loves our babies like a mom. She has brought an amazing sense of warmth and organization to our Infant Room. Ms. Gaard is as dedicated to Primrose as she is to the children here. She is always the first to volunteer her time for anything that is needed. She has helped with every school sponsored charity event that we have held.
Ms. Gaard holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and is working toward her Child Development Associate (CDA). She is originally from Pennsylvania & loves sports. She loves working with children because it brings something new everyday.

Ms. Charlotte Holaday is one of those teachers that has a gift of working well with children of every age. She frequently works in the Infant Room, but she knows all of the children in the school and jumps right in whenever we need her. Ms. Holaday is always willing to change shifts or work extra when needed. She has amazingly positive attitude and is a great role model for everyone around her.

Ms. Anthony is here to do lunch breaks and help around the school. Even though she is part time, she makes a huge impact on our school. Her love for children is evident in her interactions with them. She is also the first person to notice when something could be done or improved and she jumps right in to make it happen. We appreciate her hard work and dedication to our school and know you will too.

Ms. MacAleese works at our school in the mornings. She is a retired nurse. In her nursing career she enjoyed spedning time with newborn infants and pediatric patients. She also has experience teaching a Sunday school class of 5 year olds. She loves to spend time reading to the children and helping them play dress-up.

Ms. Pentland came to Primrose with almost four years experience working at another preschool. She has primarily worked with toddlers and three year olds but has had experience working with all ages. Outside of work, Ms. Pentland enjoys reading, watching movies, singing karaoke, swimming, and teaching swim lessons at the YMCA. Ms. Pentland enjoys working with children and she loves to hear the stories they tell.
