When I first started my career path, five years ago, I was set on the idea of teaching Pre-Kindergarten and even completed my student practicum with that age group.

When I was offered the opportunity to teach Kindergarten, I was nervous about the new territory, but thrilled to use my teaching skills that I had learned. Now I am so thankful that I had the courage to step out of my comfort zone because I love Kindergarten!  My favorite thing about teaching Kindergarten is watching them challenge new materials and learn from their experience.

 

I am from Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology. I majored in Human Development and Family Science with a minor in Education. I am currently completing my internship with The Alternative Certification for Teachers to receive my teaching license in Texas.

 

I am so honored to be a part of Primrose School at Crossroads Park.

Mrs. Cruz has been a apart of our Primrose family since March 2007.  She has eight years of Primrose Schools experience and has over twelve years of experience in early childhood education.

 

She is married and a mother of three wonderful boys-13, 9 and 4 years old.

 

Mrs Cruz offers unwavering support for the families and staff here in our school and continually works hard at building relationships with our wonderful parents and beautiful children.

 

She truly enjoys helping to guide, mentor, and motivate staff members to continue to create a safe and positive learning environment.  

Ms. Dawson joined our Primrose family in October 2009. 

She is in charge of all Professional Development and Training within our School.

 

Ms. Dawson has worked for the Primrose Corporate Office for the last 3 years in the capacity of an Operations Consultant.  In addition to her Primrose experience, Alicia has over 16 years experience in the Early Childhood field as a Teacher, Director, Trainer and Area Director.

Ms. Dawson has 3 little girls: Isabella (9), Juliana (4)

and Genevieve (3).  

 

Ms. Siegel has been apart of Primrose at Crossroads Park since February 2009.  She began as Lead Teacher in the Early Preschool II classroom and continues to grow and flourish with our team.

 

She has 5 years of experience in early childhood education and holds an Associates Degree in Elementary Education.  She is currently working towards her Bachelors Degree at the University of Houston. 

 

She thrives on teaching and working with our teachers as well as our students.

 

Ms. Siegel continues to be a tremendous asset to the Primrose School at Crossroads Park.

 

Ms. Strode has been a part of our Primrose family since January 2010. She holds a Associate's Degree in Occupational Studies. She is also CDL Certified.

Mrs. Cornejo has been a part of our Primrose team since January 2006. She holds a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Elementary Education, as well as a Master's Degree in School Administration. 

 

Mrs. Beasor has been a part of our Primrose family since September 2005. She has over 30 years of child care experience.

  

Mrs. Burkhalter has been a part of our Primrose family since May 2009. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Math with a Minor in Child Psychology.

 

Ms. Bokelman has been a part of Primrose Schools for 4 year and has worked with Infants, Young Toddlers and Preschool children.

 

Mrs. Ruiz has been in the EC field for many years and we are thrilled to have her a part of our Primrose team! 

 

 

Ms. Sikkema continues to guide and love our Young Toddler students while she pursues her Bachelor's Degree in Education.

 

 

 

Mrs. Roza joined our Primrose family in August 2009. She speaks and writes fluently in Spanish and English; can communicate in French and Japanese. Mrs. Roza comes to us with many previous years of Toddler Teacher experience.

 

Ms. Moore has several years of childcare experience. She is currently enrolled in college to obtain her Bachelor's Degree in Education.

 

Ms. Johnson is passionate about early childhood.  In addition, she is enrolled as a full time college student pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Education.

 

Mrs. Ward and Ms. Thrash have many years of combined early childhood experience and bring FUN daily into the classroom. 

 

The "dynamic duo" are high energy and we are thrilled to have them in our Early Preschool classroom. 

 

 

 

Ms. Reyes joined our Primrose family in January 2010. 

 

Ms. P joined our Primrose family in March 2010. She has an Associate of Arts and Teaching Degree.  She is currently in school to obtain her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.

 

Ms. Hernandez has been a part of our Primrose team since September 2007.  We welcomed her back in April 2009. She is currently attending college to obtain her Bachelor's Degree in Education.

 

 

 

 

 

Ms. Armstrong has been a part of our Primrose family since August 2008.

 

Ms. Nelson has 3 years prior Primrose Schools experience working with Preschool children. She holds a Bachelor's Degree, in Music Education and is certified EC-12.

 

Ms. Melendez has been a part of our Primrose family since January 2009.  She is currently enrolled in college to obtain her Bachelor's Degree in Education.

 

Ms. Wilganowski joined our Primrose family in November 2009. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas.

 

Ms. Thomas joined our Primrose family in January 2010. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Science and Health from Sam Houston State University.  Ms. Thomas comes to us with many years of early childhood experience.

 

Ms. Jagtiani has been a part of our Primrose family since November 2009. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in English, as well as a Master's Degree in Foreign Languages.  In addition, she speaks and writes fluently in English, Russian and Arabic. 

 

Ms. McCaughan is a graduate of Sam Houston State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. 

 

Ms. Longoria has been a part of our Primrose family since September 2008.  She is currently enrolled in college to obtain her Bachelor's Degree in Education.

 

 

 

Ms. Grant has been a part of our Primrose family since October 2008.  She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: EC-4.

 

Ms. Bottomly joined our Primrose family in May 2010.  She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: EC-4.

 

Ms. Reichling joined our Primrose family in February 2010.  She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Ecology with a Minor in Education: Texas State Certified EC-4.

 

Ms. Gordon is our Office Administrator as well as Explorers Club Coordinator/Teacher.  She integrates FUN and learning into the classroom daily.  She is passionate about "hands on" learning. She is consistently voted "Teacher of the Month" by our parents. She has over 3 years of Primrose Schools experience and as been a part of our Primrose School for 2 years!

 

Ms. Pritchard is currently working on her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has several years of experience working with children 2-12 years old at a local gymnastics studio. 

 

 

Mrs. Sneed has been with Primrose School since January 2009. She is currently attending college to obtain her Bachelor's Degree in Education.
