The Primrose School at Johns Creek, located at 7396 McGinnis Ferry Road in the Johns Creek/Technology Park area, opened in August 1996. From day one, its charter has been to offer excellence in Private Preschool education, and give Primrose parents the "Primrose Peace of Mind".
Owners and Duluth residents Kathy and Alex Richards are both highly involved and very focused on providing the highest quality educational childcare environment possible for your child. Both graduated from the University of Georgia, where he received a degree in Industrial Psychology and she received her degree in Secondary Education. After many years in the corporate world and having their young children in a private preschool, they realized they wanted to do something that made a difference in young children's lives. The Primrose franchise offered them more time with their own children while touching the lives of others.
Both of them are at the school each day, and three of their children, Adam, a fifth grade student and
Amy & Allison, 4th grade twins, are at Primrose after school and Summer Camp. Their oldest son, Josh, is 19 and attends Georgia State University. They work diligently at the school to achieve and retain the high Primrose standards that parents have come to expect. Alex has acted as President of the Primrose Georgia Franchise Organization, and their school has won the coveted Primrose Franchise President's Award, which is proudly displayed at the school. Their school is also SACS/CASI accredited. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools accredits area elementary, middle and high school, as well as many colleges.
Our Johns Creek community is filled with happy parents who have chosen to give their child a Primrose education, both during and after the school day. Our families become part of our close-knit Primrose Family!
