Hello,
We thank you for your interest in our school. We would like to introduce ourselves and our philosophy about this school.
The Owners
My name is Scott Maness. My wife, Stacey and I are the owners of Primrose School of Northeast Flower Mound. Let me tell you a little about our life and why we chose Primrose. Stacey and I met at The University of Mississippi where we were awarded degrees in Interior Design and Psychology. I pursued a Master's Degree in Psychology. I realized I was tired of school, so we moved to Texas to Manage General Nutrition Centers here in Dallas. Then a wonderful thing happened. Lauren, our oldest daughter was born. We were fortunate to be able to take her to work with us everyday. At this point I looked at opening a Child Care Center, but was not able to find the right fit. Then the next incredible thing happened. My wife became pregnant with twins, Payten and Morgan. Our life was never the same again. At this point we realized we needed quality care for Lauren. We were not able to find anything that met our needs in the area. That is when we intensified our search in finding a quality Child Care Center to own. Into the picture came Primrose. This organization and system was exactly what we wanted for our daughters. So we started the Primrose School of Northeast Flower Mound.
Philosophy
Our Philosopy is to treat every student in this school as if they are our own. This philosophy helps us maintain an extremely consistent and reliable service. Also, we believe every child is special and deserves to be treated as if they are special. Academically, we believe in a Balanced approach between teacher-directed and child-initiated activities to effectively prepare children for the traditional public classroom experience and to prepare them for life.
We want to offer social, emotional, physical, and intellectual early childhood development that will instill in each child a positive self-esteem and a love of learning.
