Ms. Sheehan is the Executive Director of the Primrose School of Burlington. She has twenty years of experience working with children in multiple learning environments. She began her career in early childhood development as a Toddler teacher and soon moved into an Administrative role at a childcare center. Ms. Sheehan then chose to enter the field of Early Intervention specializing in working with special needs children between the ages of birth to three years old. For the last five years, Ms. Sheehan has been the Director of a large childcare facility – with a capacity of one hundred twenty students and a staff of thirty. Ms. Sheehan earned her Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Early Childhood Development at Colby-Sawyer College in New Hampshire and has recently earned a Graduate Certificate (Leadership in Early Childhood Education) at Wheelock College in Boston, MA. In her free time, Megan enjoys riding horses and spending time with her family. She can also be spotted at multiple hockey rinks each weekend with her husband of nine years, Glenn, watching their six year old son, Nolan. Ms. Sheehan is proud to be part of an amazing new school that is soon to be filled with laughter and love. She strives to create a ‘home away from home' atmosphere for every child that enters through the school doors.
We are pleased to announce the addition of Jillian Espinola to The Primrose School of Burlington teaching faculty. Miss Espinola has previously worked at a Primrose School in Minnesota and has recently returned to her home town of Andover. Ms. Espinola has a CDA teaching credential and she has been through the extensive training program provided by Primrose Schools. She has considerable experience teaching young children. Ms. Espinola played varsity soccer, hockey and softball for four years in high school. Please join us in welcoming Miss Espinola to The Primrose School of Burlington!
Ms. Peaches Rocheford has twelve years of experience in office administration. She started her career as an executive assistant on the trading desk in Boston and has grown into an exciting role as the customer service and marketing administrator at Primrose. Mrs. Rocheford earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at Plymouth State College. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her twin daughters and husband, practicing yoga, outdoor adventures and travel.
Ms. Rachel Arena has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Child, Youth and Community Education with a concentration in Early Care and Education. She has worked with children for the past four years and has experience with infants, toddlers and preschool age children. Ms. Arena’s favorite activities to do with infants are art and sensory activities. In her free time Ms. Arena enjoys watching and playing sports and spending time outdoors.
Ms. Kathy Berkowitz has previously worked as a pediatric nurse and developmental specialist in an early intervention program; working with young children ages 1 month to 3 years and their families. She has a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Boston College and a Masters Degree in Education. She has worked for over 30 years in the fields of pediatric nursing and early intervention including leading weekly home visits, parent-baby groups, and toddler groups. She is most excited about working at Primrose for the daily opportunity to be part of a team of enthusiastic professionals who partner with parents in providing a great environment that encourages each child's curiosity and sense of wonder in their world.
Ms. Mallorie Cella has a Bachelor’s of Science in education with a Bachelor’s of Art in sociology and a minor in early childhood education from Salem State University. She has been teaching for six years and has spent most of her experience working with the infant/toddler age group as well as experience teaching children up to kindergarten age. Ms. Cella’s favorite activities to do with the infant age group is encouraging the children to explore their senses and learn in a more creative way. In her free time Ms. Cella loves to go shopping, cooking, trying new restaurants and doing things outside.
Ms. Maura Gildea is currently attending Middlesex Community College and is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in nursing. She has been working with children for over six years and has experience with many different ages of children. She is enthusiastic about teaching and guiding children as they grow. Her personal belief is to form a bond with each child and family to promote a positive experience. Some of her favorite activities include keeping active, traveling, experiencing new things and being around friends and family.
Ms. Lorena Ramirez-Presley attended the University of Mass at Dartmouth to study Psychology. She has over 17 years of experience in childcare including Nanning. Ms. Ramirez-Presley is from Arlington and has a daughter and son. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, attending sports games, reading, outdoor activities, cooking and baking. Ms. Ramirez-Presley is very happy and excited about being a part of the Primrose family.
Ms. Samantha DeVitto is currently attending Middlesex Community College pursuing a degree in nursing. Ms. DeVitto has been in a daycare setting for 2 years. She worked with the infant and toddler classrooms. Ms. DeVitto is very excited to work at Primrose School of Burlington. In her spare time she enjoys playing hockey and attending Bruins games.
Ms. Melissa Wilson is a certified toddler teacher. She plans to go back to school in the fall to finish her degree in early childhood education. Ms. Wilson has been working with children over the past 10 years. Most of her experience is with toddlers but she has worked in all classrooms. Her favorite thing about teaching is seeing the joy in the children. Her favorite past time is dance. She was a dance teacher for the past 6 years and loves it. Ms. Wilson also has a huge love for travel. She is very excited about being her at Primrose!
Ms. Abdalla recently graduated from Umass Lowell with her BA in Psychology. She plans on going back for her master’s in education and eventually become a child social worker. Ms. Abdalla has worked with children for the past 6 years in a professional setting but has always loved being around children since a young age. She really enjoys working with children and believes that they are all unique individuals and enjoys watching their progress of development. In her spare time she spends time with her family which includes sister and lots of nieces and nephews and friends. She also loves going on new adventures with her nieces and nephews.
Ms. Julie Morris is currently a senior in the medical lab assisting program at Shawsheen Tech. She just recently became EMT certified and plans to become a paramedic. Ms. Morris would like to continue her education and receive her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in the labor and delivery department. She loves reading to children and her favorite book is the Rainbow Fish. In her spare time, Ms. Morris enjoys hockey and softball, which she has played for over 11 years. She is looking forward to becoming a part of the Primrose School of Burlington family.
Ms. Rita Arney comes to us from a Primrose in New Jersey. She has her Associates Degree in Education and working towards her Bachelor’s Degree. Ms. Arney has 5 years of childcare experience and 7 years of teaching in a classroom setting. She has always loved children and spending time with them.
Ms. Rindlisbacher has 6 years’ experience working in the childcare industry working with all ages from infant to Pre-Kindergarten. She has an associate’s degree in business management from Middlesex Community College. She is very excited to be joining the primrose team and getting to know each child and family. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and 2 dogs.
Ms. Kayla Fosse is very excited to be working at Primrose School! She graduated with a degree in Psychology from Umass Boston. She has always had an interest in working with children. Ms. Fosse was a group leader for 2nd and 3rd grade children at an afterschool program at Roosevelt Elementary School in Melrose. She was also a camp counselor for children from kindergarten to 5th grade in Melrose. She enjoys doing arts and creative activites. She is so happy to be a member of the Primrose family!
Ms. Barrineau has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in early childhood education. Ms. Barrineau has extensive experience working with children of all ages, infancy through elementary. She has always loved teaching children and has been working in the childcare field for over seven years. In her spare time she loves being with her dog, working out and of course quality time with family and friends. Ms. Barrineau is excited to be a part of the Primrose team in Burlington and to teach your child.
Ms. Burnham recently graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and a double minor in Psychology and Political Science. She began working with children five years ago teaching dance to preschool and kindergarten aged children. She worked for community teamwork for a year as a group leader for their after school program. She joined the Primrose team in July of 2014 and loves working with children of all ages. Ms. Burnham spends her free time coaching a cheerleading team in Billerica and spending time with her family and friends.
Ms. Sussman received her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from UMass-North Dartmouth. She also took courses at Middlesex Community College to become a certified Early Childhood Educator. Ms. Sussman has two teenaged children. Being a parent and teacher, she has found the right balance to be the best teacher she can be. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, playing with animals, exercising and spending quality time with her friends.
Ms. Lauren Abreu has received her Bachelor of Art in psychology and elementary education from Northeastern University. She enjoys working with children of all ages but has a special love for early childhood education. Ms. Abreu hopes to soon return to school for her Master’s in early childhood education. Her main goal is to bring happiness to each student every day. Mrs. Abreu enjoys spending her free time with her husband and children. Her weekends are usually spent outdoors watching her kids play sports, hiking or just relaxing at the park.
Ms. Deirdre O’Neil has worked with children since a young age. She attended Western CT State University and studied Elementary Ed and Communication. Ms. O’Neil came from another program working with infants and toddlers. She loves to spend time with her family and friends. Ms. O’Neil enjoys working out, playing sports, shopping, playing video games and watching movies. Ms. O’Neil’s favorite childhood book is the polar express.
Ms. Shana Teles has a B.A. in Educational Psychology with a minor in Early Childhood Education. Her goal is to obtain her B.A. in Early Child Education. Ms. Teles has been surrounded by children her whole life which started her love for working with children. What she loves most about working with children is their excitement and pure joy in learning something new. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her son and fiance. She also likes to read, and do arts and crafts.
Ms. Lori Reposa has over six years of experience working with kids of all different age groups. She has her Associates Degree from Middlesex Community College in early childhood education. Ms. Reposa currently attends Fitchburg State University. She is very excited to be working in the Pre-K classroom with Ms. Teles. Lori enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Ms. Arielle Crocker graduated from Curry College with a Bachelor’s degree in Children Youth and Community and a minor in Sociology. Her goal is to receive her Master’s in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Crocker always knew she would be a teacher. She has been working with preschool age children for years as well as Nanning. In her free time she loves spending time with her family, boyfriend and friends. Arielle’s passion is she loves to travel amd her favorite vacation spot is summers on Martha’s Vineyard.
Ms. Nora Doherty is currently attending the University of Mass at Amherst and pursuing a major in Psychology and a minor in Education. She hopes to become an Elementary School Teacher. Ms. Doherty has worked in childcare for over 5 years and really loves the time with the children. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors running and hiking. She also spends time reading and being with her large family. Ms. Doherty is very excited to be a part of the Primrose Family.
Ms. Nabila Khalifa has previously worked at another school as a lead discovery preschool teacher. Ms. Khalifa is currently attending Middlesex Community College and is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing. She has a passion for working with children to help develop and discover their highest potential. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Ms. Khalifa is very excited to be here at the Primrose School of Burlington.
Ms. Khine Lily Oo is currently a junior at River University. She is majoring in Early Childhood/Special Education and will graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science. Ms. Khine is looking forward to working with children in special education and helping them grow and develop. She has always loved working with children, even as a child herself. Ms. Oo’s favorite activity is to be a Sunday school teacher. She spends Sunday mornings educating children. Ms. Oo is looking forward to expanding her teaching experiences and becoming a professional teacher.
Ms. Janet Conlon always had a passion for cooking. She worked many years in the electronic industry and then wanted to make a career change. Ms. Conlon earned her Associates degree in Applied Science at the Le Cordon Bleu Academy of Culinary Arts in Cambridge. She then started her career at a top golf course where she catered weddings and prepared food for their restaurant. Ms. Conlon then became a first cook in a nursing home for medically fragile children and young adults. She took pride in bringing some enjoyment through her food. She is excited for a bright future at Primrose as their chef. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and long walks with her 2 dogs.
Ms. Alex Dahdah is currently attending Middlesex Community College and pursing a degree in nursing, pediatrics. She has experience working with kids for almost three years ranging from toddlers to pre-teens through babysitting. She also comes from a large family where the majority of her cousins are younger and she enjoys spending time with them. Ms. Dahdah has always known that working with children would be the right fit for her because she loves to watch them quickly grow and guide them along the way. In her spare time she likes to cook and hang out with friends and family. Ms. Dahdah is very excited to start her journey here at Primrose.
Ms. Jordan Levine is very excited to be working at Primrose. She is currently a sophomore at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she is studying both Psychology and Education. She will be graduating with her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and hopes to later complete her Master’s in Education. She has a passion for working with children and was a group leader at the after school program at the YMCA, as well as a counselor at Brooks Summer Camp. She also volunteered as a Teacher’s Assistant at a local Elementary School in the past. In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Ms. Kristin Joyce is currently attending Middlesex Community College for Early Childhood Education. She is an Applied Behavioral Analyst certified through NE Center for Children, which has led her to work with children with special needs. She has over 10 years of experience working with children. Ms. Joyce has been a nanny and loves to help children learn to achieve goals. In her spare time she is with her husband, two cats, family and friends. Ms. Joyce is excited about teaching at Primrose School.
Ms. Taylor Keene graduated from UMass Lowell with bachelor’s degree in English and Psychology. She is currently in the Master’s program at Rivier University for Elementary Education. Ms. Keene has been a substitute and volunteered in a private school setting for many years and worked in an after school program. In her spare time, Ms. Keene enjoys reading, spending time with her friends, family and new puppy.
Ms. Farentina Pharel is currently attending the University of Massachusetts Lowell pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Education. She hopes to be a special needs teacher. Ms. Pharel has previously worked as an after school teacher with elementary students and completed a year of Jumpstart working with preschoolers. In her spare time, Ms. Pharel loves spending time with her family and friends and going on road trips.
Ms. Leya Barden is a recent graduate of Wheelock College. She received her undergraduate Degree in Developmental Psychology and Early Childhood Education. Ms. Barden has been working with children for over 6 years and has spent time with children from birth to age 8. She is so excited to join the Primrose team!
Ms. Carly Golan recently graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a minor in Spanish. She has experience working with young children from babysitting and working as a lifeguard in Andover. Ms. Golan also was a nanny for a family with two young children while attending college. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach and hiking with her Bernese Mountain dog. She has always loved children and is very excited to join the Primrose team!
Ms. Malissa James graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in May 2015 with an Integrated Elementary Education and Special Education degree. She has worked with children for 4 years in various K-5 Elementary settings. Ms. James has also worked with High School and Elementary students in the Special Education department. She has recently moved here from Minneapolis Minnesota where she was a Pre- School teacher at the Primrose School of Savage. Her everyday motivation and goal in life is to inspire children. Ms. James enjoys exploring nature through camping, hiking, and canoeing. In her free time she also enjoys reading in coffee shops, cooking, supporting Local and Organic shops, yoga, and spending time with her kitten, friends, and most importantly her family.
Ms. Morgan Hurley is currently attending UMass Amherst for Early Childhood Education. She has over 5 years’ experience teaching preschool and working in child care. Ms. Hurley is also teaching drama classes to children of all ages. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, sporting events and spending time with her family and friends. Ms. Hurley is very excited to be a part of Primrose School.
