Setting New Standards

In June 2012, Primrose Schools became the first organization to earn AdvancED™ Corporation Systems Accreditation based on the New Standards for Quality Early Learning Schools, the highest-level accreditation an early learning school can receive. This accreditation ensures each Primrose school meets high standards specific to early learning, development and care. The standards focus on how well schools prepare children for future success, as well as how they address the health and safety of children in the school.

Primrose Schools has held Corporate Accreditation since 1998 and was the first early childhood organization to require all of its schools to obtain individual school accreditation through SACS CASI* or NCA CASI*. Today, SACS CASI and NCA CASI are the accrediting bodies of AdvancED™, an organization offering school improvement and accreditation services to over 30,000 institutions in more than 70 countries serving over 16 million students.

Primrose Schools AdvancED Corporate Systems Accreditation assures parents and communities that our schools and our corporation are focused on raising student achievement, providing a safe and enriching learning environment, maintaining an efficient and effective operation, and focusing on ongoing improvement.

In addition to external accreditation, Primrose also has a rigorous internal quality assurance program, the SEA (Service Excellence Assurance). This program requires each school to undergo quality assurance reviews conducted by our national headquarters field consultants three times per year to make sure we are doing everything necessary to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which children can learn successfully.
