Ms. Charlene Parris
Ms. Charlene Parris
Private Pre-K One
Hello, I am Ms. Charlene Parris and have been the Lead Pre-K teacher at Primrose since 2001.  For the past 25 years I have worked in the education field.  One of the things that I love best about Primrose is that fact that they provide me with my complete curriculum that is fun, challenging, and creative.  However, I still have room for my own creativity and time for individual focus on each child.
Originally from the beautiful island of Trinidad in the Caribbean, I completed my schooling at Baruch College in New York.  Now I live in Kennesaw (Heritage Club) with my husband of 20+ years.  We have one grown daughter who graduated from college this year.  Being from the islands, I love Caribbean style food.  I also enjoy indulging in Indian and Chinese food.  My favorite weekend activities are reading, going to the movies and shopping.

Ms. Anne Stuart
Director
My name is Ms. Anne Stuart and I am the proud director of Primrose School of Kennesaw North.  I love working here with our wonderful Primrose families and dedicated, loyal staff.  I also appreciate the terrific hands-on support that I receive from owners Nick and Lisa Soukup.

I've been Primrose's Director for the past five years.  My prior experience consists of both management and teaching at two different schools in Cobb County.  I attended UGA in Athens and am a HUGE Bulldogs fan!  My husband Jeffrey and I have two sons.  Patrick will be a freshman this fall at Georgia Tech and Christopher will be a junior in high school.

When not at Primrose you can usually find me busy at home doing home-improvements, decorating, reading, gardening, scrapbooking, or attending our sons sports events (cross country & track).

Ms. Mona Wheat
Ms. Mona Wheat
Infant Teacher
My name is Mona Wheat and for the past 9+ years I have worked at Primrose School of Kennesaw North caring and loving our infants-primarily on the younger side.  For the majority of my working life this is what I have done.  I guess you can say it was my calling.   Over my 9+ years at Primrose I have had many babies under my care.  I love it when parents bring my ‘babies’ back to visit me…even though they may be 8 or 9 years old I still think of them as my ‘babies’.
I am originally from Port Arthur, Texas (southeast TX near the LA border).  I am a mother of two daughters and a grandmother to one grandson.  When not at Primrose or spending time with my own family I enjoy reading, camping, card making, watching TV, or just relaxing at home.

Ms. Jeanne Pelosi
Ms. Jeanne Pelosi
Infant Teacher
Hi, I’m Ms. Jeanne Pelosi and I am in my third year of employment at Primrose School of Kennesaw North.  During my time at Primrose I have worked in the baby room with both the younger and older infants.  For 18 years prior to joining Primrose I cared for babies in my own home….both my own and other families.  Our babies provide me with so much joy and pleasure.  I feel very fortunate to be a daily part of their lives.
I am originally from Madison, New Jersey and attended college in Frederick, MD (Hood College).   Kennesaw is where my family now resides.  My husband (of 22 years) and I have three terrific boys ages 20, 16, and 10.  In my spare time I enjoy walking and reading.  I’m also a big seafood lover!

Ms. Susan Dimmett
Ms. Susan Dimmett
Preschool Two Teacher
My name is Susan Dimmett.  I have the pleasure of being the Lead Teacher in our Preschool Two class.  Prior to working with our three-year-olds I taught in both our Young Toddler and the Private Pre-K class.

We know that brain development begins at birth; the Primrose curriculum helps make it easy to implement the developmentally appropriate activities each day in our classroom to provide our young children with the best foundation possible.

My husband Jim and I have three boys, 2 daughter-in-laws and 3 wonderful grandchildren.  Two of our sons serve in the military with one of them stationed overseas in Kuwait.  I am originally from New Orleans but call Marietta my home.  When not at Primrose I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, and attending church.  I am also an LSU and Saints fan so I enjoy football season as well.

Hi, my name is Ms. Keisha Jackson.  For the past four years that I have worked at Primrose School of Kennesaw North, I feel that Primrose is my ‘home away from home’.  As the EPS2 Lead Teacher, teaching two-year-olds is my passion.  The majority of my time at Primrose has been spent working with our terrific children in both our Early Preschool One and Early Preschool Two classrooms. I feel that it is important to provide children a solid academic and emotional foundation and a sense of structure. I also love being creative and imaginative; I feel that it helps little minds grow faster!
My hometown is Chattanooga, TN but my family currently resides in Kennesaw.  My husband and I have two children.  Justin is 15 and a student at North Cobb High School.  Our daughter Gabrielle (13) attends Awtrey Middle School.
On the weekends I enjoy participating in family activities and shopping (solo works best for this activity!).  My favorite foods are chicken, salads, fruits and cookies!

My name is Angie Rodriquez and I am pleased to work with Ms. Keisha in our Early Preschool Two classroom.  Prior to joining Primrose back in the fall of ’08 I worked for many years in the childhood education field.  Of course, being a mother to three children has also provided me with plenty of experience!  I love working with our two-year-olds.  It takes a lot of caring, patience, and love and I feel that I have plenty to offer our Primrose children,.
When not in the classroom I am very busy attending extra-curricular activities for my own kids.  Tristan (10), Emily (7), and Tyler (6) stay quite busy with baseball, football and cheerleading.   I also enjoy watching football on TV….especially the Bulldogs!
Just one other bit of ‘trivia’ about me…..I love pizza and pastas!

Ms. Judy Voccolla
Ms. Judy Voccolla
Preschool One
Hi, I’m Judy Voccola and I am the Lead Teacher in Preschool One.  Seven years ago I began my career at Primrose School of Kennesaw North working in the Young Toddler room.  As my students moved up from YT’s to Early Preschool to Preschool I had the wonderful opportunity to move up with them.  It’s been great having the benefit of working with several different age groups, as well as to be able to watch my children advance in all aspects of their growth and development.
I was born in Rhode Island and later moved to Connecticut.  Just prior to moving to Georgia in 2001 I was living in Florida.  Now I currently reside in Acworth.  I am the proud mother of 3 daughters, 1 son, and 5 grand-children.  Two of my daughters live in the area and the other two still reside in Florida.  One of my grandsons attended this school the first year it was open….way before I knew that I would be working here!
In my spare time I enjoy being with my family and friends.  I enjoy shopping and just taking time to relax.  My favorite foods are Italian, cheeseburgers, and ice cream.

Ms. Anne Archer-Johnson
Ms. Anne Archer-Johnson
Kindergarten
Hello, my name is Ms. Anne-Archer Johnson.  I joined the Primrose team back in 2006 and spent the first year teaching in Private Pre-K.  When Primrose started a Kindergarten class two years ago, I gladly accepted the opportunity to move up with my class.  The curriculum is absolutely incredible and well positions our Primrose children for success in their future.  I have a low ratio in my classroom which allows me to provide lots of individual attention and focus on each child.
My husband David and I live in Acworth although I am originally from Portland, Maine.  It’s a beautiful place to live and I enjoyed attending Westbrook College of the University of New England.  My husband and sons (Cody and Kyle) look forward to going back to the northeast each summer to visit our extended family members who still live up there.  I like to spend my time relaxing on a warm beach with a good book.  I also enjoy a good game of tennis or golf and a nice fast-paced hike.  When I want to treat myself extra well you’ll find me at Starbucks sipping a Chai Tea.

Ms. Jennifer Tallis
Ms. Jennifer Tallis

My name is Ms. Tallis and since 2005 have had the honor of being the Lead GA Pre-K teacher at Primrose School of Kennesaw North.  I work with a terrific group of teachers at Primrose and gave a good time with my students.  I love helping prepare them for kindergarten and being a part of their overall development.

I received my degree in Earl Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University.  However, when it comes to football season, I cheer on Auburn University.  When I have free time on the weekends I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, gardening, and cooking.  My favorite dishes are either Italian or Mexican.

What’s my favorite type of restaurant to eat out at?  Mexican, without a doubt!

Ms. Melanie Bushey
Ms. Melanie Bushey
Chef
With 24 years of experience as a chef in the childcare industry I was thrilled to learn of  an opening for a cook at Primrose.  That was three years ago and in that time I have gotten to know each and every child in our school.  I love the children’s expressions when they see that their favorite dish is being served.  I also love how our babies can request ‘more’ using their sign-language and how our Young Toddlers see my food cart and automatically take their seats without even being asked.  I also love it when three and four-year-olds tell me “you’re the best cook ever!”
When I’m not cooking up nutritious meals for our Primrose children I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, Andrew.  I enjoy eating out (especially at Mexican and Chinese food restaurants), going to the movies, antique shopping, and supporting GA Tech’s football team when they are playing.

Ms. Karen Tyree
Ms. Karen Tyree
Infant Teacher
My name is Ms. Karen Tyree and I have the honor of working with our older infants. After four years of driving by Primrose every day on my way to work at another childcare center I finally decided to stop by and learn more about them. I was always so impressed with the exterior and wondered if it was just as wonderful on the interior. I found that answer to be ‘yes’ and when a position became available I was thrilled to accept it.

Originally from Albany, GA my husband Gary and I have lived in the city of Kennesaw for the past 10 years. We have 2 daughters, 5 grandchildren and two dogs (Sophie is a Corgie and Samie is a Boston Terrior). Our interests and hobbies are out grandchildren and pets. Whatever our grandchildren are into at the time is pretty much what we are into. Gary and I also like to travel when we can.
