Family of the Month

June 2010 Family of the Month (6/14/2010)

Our family of the month spotlight goes to the Woudstra family. Eileen and Derek have two children enrolled in our school. Olivia, who is 5 years old, just graduated on June 4th and attends our Pre-K2 class. Jay is 2 years old and is enrolled in our EPS2 classroom. Eileen is originally from Raleigh, NC and Derek is from High Point, NC.
     The two met the "old fashioned" way at East Village by NCSU through friends. Derek is a Furniture Designer and Owner of Woudstra Design. Eileen is a Cost Analyst & Proposal Coordinator for Dashiell Engineering.
     The Woudstra's love anything outdoors: camping, boating, and off-roading. Eileen is currently training for a marathon in the fall and Derek is always keeping an eye out for his next white-water kayaking adventure. Other members of the family include: Tony, Bo and Sal, 3 cats they have been fostering for almost 10 years. They think they'll keep them!
     We have known the Woudstra's for the past five years. You can say they are definitely part of the family. Thank you for your service and loyalty to The Primrose School of West Cary.
