The Trochmann family has been coming to Primrose since August 2005 when Wayne’s company moved us to Atlanta from the Washington, D.C. area.
Nicholas was 2 at the time and started in EPSI. He graduated from Private Pre-K in 2009 and came back this summer in the Explorers room, where he’s having fun with all of his old Primrose friends.
Colin arrived in October 2005 and started in the Infant room a few months later. He’s now in the Preschool 2 class and is looking forward to moving up to pre-k in August with many of the same kids he started with in the Infant room almost 5 years ago.
Luke joined the family in November 2009 and is the latest Trochmann to attend Primrose. His big brothers are so proud of him.
Wayne and Vanessa both work in the software industry. They met at work when Wayne attended a training class that Vanessa was teaching. Now Wayne works in sales, and Vanessa is a technical writer. Wayne is originally from Seattle, and Vanessa is from Connecticut, but we feel very much at home here in Georgia and plan to stay a long time.
Our family likes to be active and do things together like hiking and biking. We also stay bust attending the boys’ sporting events. Nicholas is a green belt in Taekwondo and attends classes all year-round. He enjoyed playing flag football in the fall, basketball in the winter and baseball in the spring. Colin just started “Little Ninja” Taekwondo classes and played soccer this spring. He plans to play again in the fall.
We’ve made so many good friends at Primrose, and the boys all love coming here!
