Preschool
"The facility is very clean and professionally operated, yet has a family flair. As working parents who have been through several daycare facilities, we find Primrose to be top quality—everything we want, and more. We feel very secure leaving our children in their hands every day and best of all, we know they are learning! We know our children will be prepared for elementary school and we are thankful to have found such a special place."

and teacher guidance provides a balance of activities that expand your
child’s academic, social, and emotional development
throughout the day.

has been designed to enhance the intellectual, physical, social and
emotional development of each child. Weekly thematic Units of Learning

Balanced Adventure in Learning and Fun!
Teachers
maintain a delicate balance of spirited fun and engaged focus in the
Preschool classroom. Each day the children are encouraged to explore
their world and interact with one another in high-interest Learning
Centers and to participate in small-group, teacher lead instructional
activities.
An important part of the learning and fun
occurs during Morning Circle Time with the Interactive Calendar,
Primrose Weather Chart, the Helper Chart, the Primrose Puppet Friends
and and Percy’s Rules of the Roost. These classroom elements
follow children through Private Kindergarten to ensure consistency of
instruction
Charting Individual Growth and Development
The
Balanced Learning Student Evaluations give
teachers a blueprint of learning outcomes and teaching objectives that
enables them to plan and implement their instruction in meaningful and
purposeful ways. However, young children mature and develop skills at
different rates so Primrose Preschool teachers track and share each
child’s progress with parents during the year through Student
Evaluations and other components of our Balanced Assessment.
